VENUE CHECKLIST
Please take notes of a few points that will need to be arranged in advance of your Function.stageplan

Performance Area/Stage
The Band will require an area (preferably raised) minimum 18ft wide x 12ft deep. PA speakers and lighting equipment stands will be positioned either side of the performance area.
You should let the venue know well in advance how much space the band require so that they can plan table layouts.
The Band will require somewhere to store empty equipment cases, etc, after they have set up (usually adjacent to the stage area)

Electricity supply
Check that the venue has at least 4 standard plug sockets in very close proximity to the band's performance area. The Band will bring multi-plug adapters as required.
If you're holding an event in a Marquee, arrange that a sufficiently powerful generator be provided, or that a dedicated outdoor electricity supply with at least 4 plug sockets is made available exclusively to the band. This supply should not be shared with any one else or over overloading may occur.

Arrival and set up times
It's possible that the band may be required to arrive and set up before guests arrive, or after a sit down meal during the period in which the venue re-set tables and re-arrange the room. The usual arrival time for most evening functions is around 5pm - 6pm. The band may charge an additional fee to arrive and set up any earlier. Sound check time is required to mix instrument volume levels and adjust equipment settings. Ideally, 60 - 90 minutes is required for set up and sound check.

Loading in equipment
Check in advance that the band has easy access to the function room. Huge flights of stairs and very long corridors make loading in time increase to the point that your event schedule could be seriously affected. If the band cannot park and unload their equipment within 50 yards of the room, or if they must carry equipment up more than one flight of stairs, it is essential you let the Band know. If lifts are to be used to move equipment, please make sure that they are of a suitable size and are to be used exclusively by the band for the period required to load in and out. Parking is required for 2 cars and 1 trailer.

Changing rooms
Please arrange with the venue that the band has a room to change and rest in. This should be well lit with mirror, private and secure with enough seating for all the band members.
If possible, close access to toilets and washbasin are preferred.

Refreshments
Soft drinks/water, sandwiches or hot meal would be very much appreciated.
In almost all cases, the band is away from home for a substantial period of time (including travelling, set-up, performing, & de-rigging). If provisions cannot be made, then please advise the Band in order to make other arrangements.

Safety
The band will need clear and easy access to the performance area.
The Band's personal equipment, instruments and PA system are not available for use by any other Artists, Staff or Guests.
